There may be a few blooms left on the trees but peak season was supposed to be this past week. Like with fall colors, some trees come in earlier and some later with color/bloom. Wind and rain between now and then may have an effect as well. Regardless of the cherry blossoms DC is still very scenic and beautiful and other plants/flowers may still be in season.
Hi, will April 6 be a good day to see the cherry blossoms? We have our hotel reservation done but now that the peak bloom got preponed just wondering will it be good over the coming weekend?

It’s Wednesday and the blossoms have popped. Not many petals on the grounds. The cooler weather has made the blossoms to hold on longer.
