Korcula is amazing! We really enjoyed the day we walked around the island, and learned that Marco Polo might have come from here as Korcula was part of Venice in his lifetime. Regardless, the island …Full review by Faithfultravelerrev

I'm torn between staying near the Old Town or Lumbarda. I want relaxation but I like easy access to places where I can have a wander in the evenings - find a nice bar or restaurant (or 2). Is the Old Town overrun with cruise ship traffic? Is Lumbarda cut off from the Old Town in the evenings? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
A:
I would vote to stay in the old town and drive/bus to lumbarda. That way you have the ability to talk to some nice cafes/restaurants in the evenings without too far to travel.
Q:
how long does the ferry take from dubrovnic
A:
The catamaram takes around two hours. The journey costs 130 Kuna (app. 18€). In the summer there are connections at 7am and 4pm from Dubrovnik's main harbour.
Q:
Hi crusinbob here, loved your Korcula review, where did you book the tour?
A:
We booked our trip through a kiosk in Cavtat there are a few on the water front. The prices vary so it was not expensive.
