What's the best way to get from Havana to the Memories hotel? I looked at the Viazul bus but it does not come through here. Is a taxi the only option and if so, does the hotel arrange the transfer or do we just pick up a cab on the streets of Havana/

There are several hotels on Playa Jibacoa, but the best one for Canadians (the others are mainly used by locals to my knowledge) is Memories Jibacoa. You can book vacation packages there through Sunwing Travel, or book flights separately and book your accommodations directly through them at Memories Resorts. I would probably go through Sunwing, as their packages include transfers from the airport in Varadero (about an hour away). Check the resort out on TripAdvisor - lots of good info here!
