There was tornadic activity Monday across north central Minnesota with several reported sightings in Perham, Battle Lake and the Brainerd Lakes area. Crews were surveying damage Tuesday near Casino, Minn., and moving east toward Crosby, according to Patrick Ayd, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Duluth.

LAKE BUCKHORN, Ohio — A tornado with winds over 100 mph touched down Monday in Holmes County, the National Weather Service confirmed. The EF-1 tornado touched down just before 5:30 p.m. near Lake Buckhorn and was on the ground for three minutes, covering 1.32 miles. It had a maximum width of 80 yards and wind speed of 105 mph.
