Weather has been the cause of a couple of postponed games around the league on Tuesday, and now the Reds and White Sox are the latest teams impacted.
Friday's originally-scheduled 6:10 p.m. game between the Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Update, 6:15 p.m.: No word on whether or not baseball will be played between the Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals tonight,
The Reds and Nationals scheduled 4:10 p.m. start will be delayed, with the delay likely being short, according to a Reds spokesman. Reds officials then confirmed the game was scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
The Reds were set to welcome the Washington Nationals to town for the start of a three-game set from Great American Ball Park on Friday evening, but the game is already in a delay almost an hour before the scheduled first-pitch time of 6:10 p.m. ET.
After the Tuesday game was rained out and a doubleheader played Wednesday, Thursday's 12:40 p.m. game entered a rain delay with the Reds leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning at Great American Ball Park. Andrew Abbott started the game for the Reds. Matthew Liberatore was the starter for the Cardinals.
