One week after receiving a commitment from Illinois forward Morez Johnson Jr., the Wolverines landed a pledge from UCLA center Aday Mara.

On3 has Mara as the fourth-best center in the transfer portal and the No. 45 player, regardless of position. His addition gives Michigan four transfers in the top 60, with Lendeborg at No. 1, Johnson at No. 31, and Cadeau at No. 59.

Aday Mara on Friday became the fourth player to commit to Dusty May and the Michigan Wolverines out of the transfer portal. Michigan now has the No. 1-ranked class in 2025 and is clearly committed financially to capitalize on May's debut season that saw the Wolverines reach the Sweet 16 and make a real run at the Big Ten regular season championship.
