The Chicago Sky carried a 3-9 record during the 2025 WNBA season into Sunday's contest against the 9-4 Atlanta Dream. Atlanta added nine-time All-Star center Brittney Griner this offseason after she spent the first 11 years of her career with the Phoenix Mercury.

Angel Reese played 21 minutes in the contest, scoring nine points and adding two rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block. She was 1-of-1 shooting and scored the majority of her points from the free-throw line, going 6-of-6 from the line.
