By Sachin Ravikumar and Muvija M LONDON (Reuters) -British police on Monday launched a criminal investigation into musical duo Bob Vylan and Irish rap band Kneecap's gigs at the Glastonbury music festival after they led chanting against the Israeli military and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Deputy secretary of state Christopher Landau confirmed the duo's visas have been revoked "in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants."

The U.S. State Department said that it has revoked visas to the Bob Vylan duo for leading a chant of “death” to the Israeli Defense Forces at a music festival in the United Kingdom last weekend.
