While Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will have the opportunity to remain the starter, GM Chris Ballard says he's going to have to win a competition.

Ballard wants to bring in a QB to "create real competition ... (someone) who can really challenge from a production standpoint, too.”

Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard revealed in January he planned to bring in competition at the quarterback position after 2023 first-round draft pick Anthony Richardson failed to prove over his first two pro seasons he is a long-term answer for the organization.
