Russian forces have launched a large-scale drone assault across Ukraine, where officials said three people were killed and 64 others wounded.

A concentrated, nine-minute-long Russian drone attack on Ukraine's second largest city of Kharkiv in the middle of the night killed at least two people and injured 57, including seven children, regional officials said on Wednesday.

Russia’s drone strike on Kharkiv prompted a tit for tat response from Ukraine, highlighting a pattern in which both sides favor low-risk drone attacks over infantry assaults.
