This setup could produce an additional 1-2 inches of rain across our area. Temperatures will trend warmer by the end of the week with highs in the mid-60s and lows in the 40s and 50s. Warm weather may continue into the first full week of February with high temperatures possibly climbing into the 60s and 70s.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Warmer air is back! We are keeping an eye on highs in the 60s and overnight remaining above freezing for at least the next 7 to 10 days. That means we end January and head into February with above average temperatures.

First Alert Weather: Above average temperatures return for the weekend, with flurries possible
Temperatures on Sunday will be slightly cooler thanks to that passage, but otherwise not too terrible. In other good news, the Climate Prediction Center’s 6-10 day outlook has the area under a 60% chance of seeing above normal temperatures this final week of January and into the beginning of February.
