The M2 uses BMW M’s 3.0-liter S58 straight-six.It puts out 453 hp at 6250 rpm and 406 lb-ft of torque from 2650 rpm to 5870 rpm, making it the least powerful version of the engine.

The G87-series M2 Coupe sounds perfectly fine by default. However, the S58 engine's aural qualities can be noticeably improved by swapping the stock valved exhaust for a titanium setup from Akrapovic.
