Meantime, WAFA correspondent confirmed that ten Palestinians were admitted to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City due to injuries caused by unexploded ordnance left behind by Israeli forces in the vicinity of the Civil Administration area east of Jabalia refugee camp.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defense, said Israeli warplanes had intensified raids across multiple areas of Gaza. One strike, near the Engineers' Syndicate in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of western Gaza City, killed 18 people and injured 20 others.

A Hamas commander who led Hamas fighters in Beit Hanoun and northern Gaza appeared in a video on January 22. Hussein Fiad, the commander, was believed to have been killed in May. However, he apparently has a new lease on life.
