The two people killed in a deadly mass shooting at a bar in Hammond, Indiana early Sunday morning have been identified, as charges against a person of interest are still pending.

HAMMOND, Ind. (WLS) -- A shooting at a Northwest Indiana pub left two people dead and three others injured early Sunday morning, police said. Hammond police officers responded to reports of gunfire at Portside Pub at 1516 Indianapolis Boulevard around 4 a.m.

Four of the victims, including two who were killed, went outside to try and help the fifth victim while alleged shooter Caprice Cashaw, 31, was assaulting her.
