A rapidly-growing brush fire broke out near Silverwood Lake in San Bernardino County on Saturday.It was first reported at around 4 p.m. near the recreation area located just south of Hesperia in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains,

The Lake fire broke out in the Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area in San Bernardino County, burning more than 400 acres and prompting evacuations and road closures in the region.

Lake Fire initially started 3:58 p.m. June 28 in San Bernardino County, California. It has burned 478 acres after being active for eight hours. At this time, there are no details on the containment of the fire.
