The Liberty on Saturday experienced their first hiccup of the season. In her first game back since suffering a quad injury, Clark scored 32 points and made seven of Indiana’s season-high 17 3-pointers. Defensive breakdowns, most notably in the second half, led to open looks for Indiana, and the Liberty couldn’t recover as they fell 102-88.

In a new article, ESPN .com is giving the Liberty an "A" as it dishes out grades after one month of the WNBA season. It's not a stretch to say that, outside of the Minnesota Lynx, New York is in prime position to repeat again as WNBA champions.
