Liverpool are in talks to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi and have been made aware of the possibility of sending Harvey Elliott in the opposite direction

Liverpool are in talks with Crystal Palace over a deal for Marc Guehi and also intend to make a formal move for Parma’s teenage defender Giovanni Leoni.

The Crystal Palace captain, who is now into the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League champions. According to the BBC, Liverpool have now held initial talks with the Eagles with a view to signing the 25-year-old.
