Shaw, a three-star linebacker, is the son of former MSU offensive lineman Scott Shaw and field hockey star Angela DiJames.

The Michigan State Spartans are in the market to land a four-star defensive lineman in the Class of 2027 with a pair of siblings who currently play in the NFL.

The Spartans landed a second commit from the class on Monday, as in-state offensive tackle Tristan Comer announced on social media that he has committed to Michigan State. Comer's announcement follows the commitment of three-star wide receiver Zachary Washington.
