The White House defended Donald Trump's stay at two golf properties during a "working visit" to Scotland that included meetings with European leaders.

Trump begins by thanking Scotland's First Minister John Swinney, saying "thank you very much for everything". The US president says he will play a round on his new golf course very quickly before returning to Washington DC to "put out fires all over the world".
