A person shot and killed an innocent bystander during a “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday.

Saturday marks the first full day of Marines on duty in Los Angeles, one week after protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids ignited in LA.

While the protests remained largely peaceful, there were several violent outbursts, including in Salt Lake City, where a gunman opened fire and left one person in “life-threatening condition.”

After thousands of people flooded Philadelphia for the "No Kings" protest, the barricades, stage, and sound system were taken down Saturday evening. Ryan Hughes reports.

Organisers said hundreds of demonstrations were held in a day of defiance to counter a military parade hosted by Trump.

Despite peaceful demonstrations reported in multiple cities, violence flared at some anti-Trump protests over the weekend.
