Thieves pilfered money from a donation box at a museum in Rutgers University on Tuesday, May 13, authorities said. The theft occurred between 8:24 p.m. and 8:42 p.m. at the Zimmerli Art Museum at 71 Hamilton St.

A new leader is coming to the University of Texas at Dallas — Prabhas Moghe, of Rutgers University. Moghe, whose background is in chemical and bioengineering, is currently the executive vice president for academic affairs and chief academic officer at Rutgers.

Deanna Kerrigan will join the Rutgers School of Public Health as vice dean on Nov. 1. She will also serve as the Henry J. Rutgers Chair of Whole Person Health and a professor in the Department of Health, Behavior, Society and Policy at the school.

During her senior year, she served as president of Rutgers Enactus, an entrepreneurship club that addresses the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She appreciates that the club is focused on doing good and that it draws students from all majors and schools across the New Brunswick campus.

After going 7-6 in back-to-back seasons — a stretch that includes a win over former Big East foe Miami in the Pinstripe Bowl — Rutgers has planted itself “firmly in that middle tier of the Big Ten,” according to Tom Fornelli.
