Too Good to Go app helps combat food waste by offering end-of-day restaurant deals. With over 155,000 partners and 90 million users, it has saved over 300 million meals.
Too Good to Go rolled out in Virginia Beach May 21, according to a news release. There are also participating businesses in neighboring cities, such as Hampton, Norfolk, and Portsmouth.

Sophie Trueman is Too Good To Go’s country director for the UK and Ireland, and says that reducing the environmental impact of food waste remains the company’s number one priority.
Too Good to Go started in Copenhagen in 2016, expanded throughout Europe, into Canada and then to the U.S. It launched in Los Angeles in 2022. Later this year, it will be in Australia.
