Victoria's Secret, the fashion giant, has taken down its website and some store services because of an ongoing security incident
Victoria’s Secret’s website remained down on Wednesday in a mysterious outage that reportedly began during a Memorial Day sale on Monday. The lingerie retailer, based in Columbus, Ohio, said it was dealing with a “security incident” in a pop-up notice on the website.
Borrowing costs on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages, popular with homeowners refinancing their home loans, also rose. The average rate ticked up to 6.03% from 6.01% last week. It’s still down from 6.36% a year ago, Freddie Mac said.
Victoria’s Secret & Co. (NYSE:VSCO) is an American specialty retailer of lingerie, clothing, and beauty products. The company specializes in signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, athleisure and swimwear, as well as fragrances and body care.
The retailer has submitted a planning application to bring the former Eason unit on Donegall Place back to life as Victoria’s Secret’s new flagship store in Northern Ireland. It’s located next door to Next’s main Belfast city centre outlet. New signage went up on the unit this week, confirming the store will open this summer.
