Duke's only losses in ACC play are to North Carolina, NC State and Notre Dame, the latter on Monday in South Bend, Indiana. The Blue Devils are 11-0 at home and play three of their last four regular-season games there. In short, Duke is still in the thick of the race to get the No. 2 seed in the ACC tournament, assuming Notre Dame gets No. 1.

There's a new No. 1 in the USA TODAY Sports women's basketball poll with Notre Dame assuming the top spot after a loss by UCLA.

It should be noted that Notre Dame appears as the lower No. 1 seed to Texas, despite the Irish winning that head-to-head matchup in South Bend back in December. The Longhorns ended an eight-day stretch on Sunday in which they beat three top-10 teams in a row, including South Carolina.
