Students can program the Bee-Bot to go up, down, left, right and pause. They decompose — or breakdown — the steps into instructions they program into the Bee-Bot.

Working with the Bee-Bots was intended to introduce the students to the basics of programming, or coding, said Brad Malaspina, a technology integration specialist.
