The month of January provided Erie with more than 31 inches of new snow, keeping Erie on pace for the historical average snowfall.

In just 24 hours, parts of Erie County saw up to 16 inches of new snowfall, while other areas received 8 to 10 inches. Here are the updated totals.

On Friday at 1:31 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 7 a.m. until Saturday 1 a.m.

The National Weather Service has a winter storm warning issued for Erie and Crawford counties from 7 p.m. Jan. 24 until 1 p.m. Jan. 26.

On Thursday at 1:04 p.m. a winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from Friday 7 a.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Southern Erie.
