Shocking scenes in Bridgend saw children forced to intervene as parents brawled at an under-14s football match.

The game took place in Wales at the U14s match between Aberkenfig BGC and Trefelin BGC on Saturday (February 21). Video shows adults throw punches at each other in front of the children as others in attendance begged them to calm down and stop fighting.

In a statement posted on social media, the club said: "Following the incident on the weekend, an internal investigation has been conducted, and individuals involved have been handed a life ban by Trefelin BGC. "Further investigations are in the hands of the relevant governing bodies. We will not be making any further comments."
