The Golden State Warriors hit the road for Phoenix on Thursday night to face the Suns in their first matchup since acquiring centers Kristaps Porzingis at the NBA’s Wednesday trade deadline. The game is scheduled to start at 10 p.

Golden State will need Brandin Podziemski, averaging 12.1 points per game, to step up along with savvy veteran Draymond Green. With their leading scorer on the bench, Dillon Brooks (20.9 ppg) and Grayson Allen (16.9 ppg) will look to handle things offensively.

During the 2025-26 season, the Detroit Pistons, led by all-star Cade Cunningham, surprised the NBA with high-level play and tough defense to make a name for themselves at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Eastern Conference-leading Detroit faces Golden State at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN, as Cade Cunningham and the Pistons conclude their West Coast road trip in San Francisco.
