The new titles are Games on Demand versions of Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Campaign Edition, and Halo 4. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary was also added today as a disc-only option.

It's the fifth game in the package to come to PC, following Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3. The sixth game in the package, Halo 4, will be released at some point later in 2020.

Halo 4 wants to buck the trend. According to representatives of developer 343 Industries, the game's Spartan Ops mode alone will be longer than the entirety of Halo 3: ODST.

It's this content taken in isolation that Ellis has claimed will consist of more content than Halo 3: ODST. So it seems if you were concerned after yesterday's news then there's no need to panic.

With Halo 3: ODST out, the only game that remains for 343 Industries to bring to PC is Halo 4. Once Halo 4 is on PC, the developer's goal to port the full MCC to the platform will be completed.

Developer 343 Industries has revealed on Twitter that Halo 3: ODST is coming to Steam as part of the Master Chief Collection September 22nd. That's only a week away, too, which is neat.

ODST originally launched on Xbox 360 in September 2009, following the release of Halo 3 in 2007. Unlike earlier Halo titles, our boy John — aka Master Chief — is not the star of ODST.
