Researchers discover security flaw in Honda's implementation of rolling codes that leave cars vulnerable to tech-savvy criminals.
Every Honda vehicle since 2012 could be vulnerable to an untraceable key fob hack that gives bad actors access to the vehicle.
The hackers showed the flaw allowed them to unlock vulnerable cars and start car engines.
They say that Honda vehicles made after 2012 allow for a new vulnerability allowing them to go back to one of those previously used codes and access the vehicle just the same.
