Strong to severe storms could bring heavy rain, frequent lightning | LOW RISK OF TORNADO, HAIL
A strong cold front could spark strong to severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening across South-Central Pennsylvania.
Storms could become severe with the primary threats being damaging winds, frequent lightning and heavy rain, but hail and isolated tornadoes can’t be ruled out.

A severe thunderstorm watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:11 a.m. EDT in effect until 3 a.m. EDT for Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.
The warning was issued for Cameron and Elk counties. "The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.
