Currently rehabbing a torn Achilles tendon suffered during last season’s NBA Playoffs, Lillard will compete in the 3-point contest for the sixth time in his career—having previously competed in 2014, 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025 and winning the event in both 2023 (Salt Lake City) and 2024 (Indianapolis).

Tyrese Maxey will be the first Philadelphia 76ers player to compete in the 3-Point Contest since Kyle Korver in 2005.

Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Devin Booker will compete in his fifth NBA 3-point contest Feb. 14 during All-Star weekend in Los Angeles.

The NBA’s All-Star weekend gets started this coming Friday, and there will be an unexpected inclusion in the festivities. Two-time Three-Point Contest champion Damian Lillard – who hasn’t played this season for the Portland Trail Blazers as he rehabs a torn achilles – will be part of the field for the fourth-straight season.
