Patrick Mahomes publicly addressed the injury he suffered during the Chiefs’ clash against the Los Angeles Chargers. Patrick, 30, took to X after the game on Sunday, December 14, to reflect on the gruesome leg injury that left him limping off the field late in the Chargers’ face-off against Kansas City.
Dallas-based orthopedic surgeon Daniel E. Cooper performed surgery on Mahomes on Monday evening and reported that the quarterback had no artery, nerve, joint or meniscal damage. Mahomes has already begun rehab in Dallas and is expected to return to Kansas City on Friday to continue his rehab under assistant athletic trainer Julie Frymyer.
