Saros, the next title from Returnal developer Housemarque, recieved a gameplay overview trailer during the latest State of Play, and it gave a deeper look at the game set on the planet Carcosa, which is constantly under the threat of an ominous eclipse.

Sony and Housemarque reveal that players will be able to to play Saros 48 hours ahead of its release on April 30, but there's a catch.

Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Housemarque have released a gameplay overview trailer for fast-paced, cinematic action game Saros.

Saros is the follow-up to Returnal, the 2021 PS5 game famed for its high difficulty and lack of permanent progression. Saros appears to address that criticism head-on by offering the player more ways to get permanently stronger. Gregory Louden, the game’s creative director, explained the mechanics to the PlayStation Blog.
