Thousands of people have been heading to Plymouth Hoe to celebrate Armed Forces Day. The event, packed full of family fun, runs until 17:15 BST on Saturday and is followed by a free evening concert in the evening.

An estimated 45,000 people are expected to attend the spectacular Armed Forces Day event in Plymouth today (June 28). Road closures have been put in place at The Hoe as thousands look to enjoy a full day and night of family-fun activities for local Armed Forces Day celebrations
