BART service between the Lake Merritt station in Oakland and the Dublin and Berryessa stations was shut down Tuesday morning because of a fire near the San Leandro station

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) service in much of the East Bay continues to be disrupted Tuesday afternoon, as crews make repairs following a fire near the San Leandro station.

BART service has halted on Tuesday morning between Berryessa station, Dublin/Pleasanton station and Lake Merritt, the transit agency reports.
