The Boston Celtics are back in the NBA playoffs and will try to defend their title in 2025. Up first for the reigning champs is a first-round series against the Orlando Magic and Boston took care of business at home in Games 1 and 2.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder entered the playoffs as favorites to win the NBA championship, and have done nothing to dissuade the betting public in winning their first three games against the Memphis Grizzlies,

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics fell short in Game 3 on the road, losing 95-93 to the Orlando Magic, who were powered by a combined 61 points from Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero.

The Orlando Magic were able to get back into the series against the Boston Celtics in Game 3, defeating them 95-93. It was Franz Wagner who led the way for the Magic, finishing with 32 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists, and Paolo Banchero also had a big game with 29 points.

Even with Jayson Tatum in the starting lineup, the Boston Celtics still couldn't find a way to win in Orlando. Tatum scored 36 points Friday night, but the Magic won 95-93 to cut the Celtics' lead to 2-1 in the first-round playoff series.
