A 65-year-old man who authorities say may have been ice fishing was found dead in Cherry Creek Reservoir on Tuesday. The reservoir is located in Cherry Creek State Park in the southeastern part of the Denver metro area.

The body of a deceased ice fisherman was pulled from the Cherry Creek Reservoir on Tuesday afternoon.

A body was found in a local reservoir by two fishermen Sunday afternoon, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.

The man's body was found near the reservoir spillway Tuesday afternoon, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said.

First responders and law enforcement were investigating a death at the Cherry Creek Reservoir in Colorado on Tuesday afternoon of what potentially was an ice fisherman who had fallen through the ice.
