After introducing their pink and mint alternate uniforms in 2022, the San Diego Padres will be moving on from that branding at the end of the 2025 season.

Love them or hate them, it’s impossible to ignore them. When the Padres came out with their City Connect uniforms in 2022, the pink and mint combination became a divisive dressing (for the record, nearly all of the many players I’ve spoken with love them).

The Padres are saying goodbye to their pink-and-mint City Connect uniforms after 2025, which were inspired by the San Diego’s sunsets.

The new uniform will replace the navy “Wrigleyville” City Connect jerseys, which the team is retiring. The Cubs are scheduled to debut the alternate jerseys April 5, when they play the Padres in the first home series of the year. The team will then wear them for Friday home games throughout the summer.
