Woody Johnson is in the football ownership business once again. In addition to owning the New York Jets, Johnson has agreed on a £190 million deal ($254 million) to buy a 43 percent stake in London's Crystal Palace Football Club. Crystal Palace, who compete in the English Premier League, announced the update on Monday:

Palace’s current squad is arguably the best in their history. England internationals Eberechi Eze (who scored the winner in the cup final) and Marc Guehi are the crown jewels, and likely to be the next big names to depart for bigger clubs.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson is finally set to get his hands on an English soccer team. Premier League side Crystal Palace says Johnson has signed “a legally binding contract” to buy the shares of fellow American John Textor.
