The Blackhawks are continuing to rebuild to return to their glory years. They won the Stanley Cup in 2010, 2013 and 2015, with center Jonathan Toews and forward Patrick Kane as the centerpieces of the franchise.

The Panthers will raise their second Stanley Cup banner on opening night against the Blackhawks on October 7.

On July 1, 2024, the Chicago Blackhawks committed $59.4 million to eight players. This year, on July 1, the team signed one player for a total of $1.77 million.
