The Los Angeles Lakers made the signing of veteran center Deandre Ayton official, as free agents can begin to sign with teams.

Veteran center Deandre Ayton has agreed to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers following his buyout from the Portland Trail Blazers, per ESPN's Shams Charania.

Luka Doncic and Deandre Ayton “were motivated” to team up on the Los Angeles Lakers, according to NBA insider Marc Stein of The Stein Line.  Ayton signed a two-year contract with the Lakers after getting bought out by the Portland Trail Blazers.
