Twelve people were injured and 11 of those were taken to a hospital following a report of multiple stabbing victims at a men’s homeless shelter in Salem, Oregon, a police spokesperson said.

The attacker, a homeless man who had stayed at the mission on Saturday night, was about to check in for a second night when he got into a fight.

Police officials said 25-year-old Jalonie Jenkins was arrested Sunday evening in Downers Grove “without incident.”
