Golden State was without Curry Thursday in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a hamstring strain, and it showed. The Timberwolves won 117–93, and after the game Warriors coach Steve Kerr conceded a need to find direction.

Jonathan Kuminga led the Warriors with 18 points off the bench. Trayce Jackson-Davis also came off the bench and added 15. Jimmy Butler, in his second game back from injury, played 34 minutes and scored 17 points.

Steph Curry’s hamstring injury has turned this second-round series on its head. But so has the Dubs’ Game 1 win.
