The Australian sprinter avoided a late crash and broke free of his companions to solo to a maiden Tour de France victory

Wednesday's Tour de France Stage 17 will get underway in Bollène on Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. ET and will be streaming on Peacock.

The Tour de France is in its final week and the racers return to the road for Stage 16 on Tuesday, July 22 after having their second and last rest day on Monday. The next stage is scheduled to start at 6 a.m. EDT and will be broadcast on Peacock. Fans looking to watch can do so by using Peacock, which has plans starting at $7.99 a month.

Tadej Pogacar rampaged through the Pyrenees, winning atop Hautacam on stage 12, then demolishing the field in the time trial on stage 13, and those back-to-back wins have gone some way to ensuring the destiny of the Tour de France title is looking fairly well sewn up.

The 30-year-old had been enjoying the best Tour of his career, having won stage two and worn the yellow jersey on two separate occasions.

While no riders left the Tour on stage 19, the day before to the Col de la Loze showed the accumulated fatigue, with three riders leaving the race: Carlos Rodriguez (Ineos), Enric Mas (Movistar) and Cyril Barthe (Groupama-FDJ) exiting on stage 18.
