Ukraine is in the midst of launching a second offensive in Russia's Kursk region and is facing a barrage of long-range missiles and ongoing advances from Russia.

According to a Jan. 7 report by the AP, Pentagon sources did not disclose the exact amount of the aid but indicated that the package would be "significant." However, it will not include the entire $4 billion allocated by Congress for Ukraine.
