RALEIGH, N.C. -- Frederik Andersen became the second-fastest goaltender to reach 300 wins as the Carolina Hurricanes scored five straight goals in the second period to rally past the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 7-4 win at Lenovo Center on Thursday.

Seth Jarvis had two goals and two assists and Sebastian Aho added a goal and two assists as the Carolina Hurricanes scored five goals in the second period and beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 7-4.

Kent Johnson (14), Kirill Marchenko (19), James van Riemsdyk (10), and Dmitri Voronkov (18) scored the goal for Columbus, and Daniil Tarasov allowed 6 goals on 42 shots in the Hurricanes 7-4 win over the Blue Jackets on Thursday night.

Frederik Andersen earned a win in his first home start since opening night, and Seth Jarvis had four points for Carolina in the Hurricanes’ home win over Columbus.

BOTTOM LINE: The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to keep a three-game win streak going when they host the Columbus Blue Jackets. Carolina is 29-16-3 overall with a 12-4-2 record in Metropolitan Division play. The Hurricanes have gone 27-4-2 when scoring at least three goals.
