Ford Motor Company F is facing an intensified investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) into its BlueCruise hands-free driving technology, following two fatal crashes involving electric Mustang Mach-E vehicles while the system was active.

Ford is recalling 149,449 examples of its body-on-frame Bronco because of rear shocks that can fail due to corrosion. This recall only affects Broncos with external reservoir shocks, which includes Badlands and Broncos equipped with the Sasquatch package. Ford says the remedy is under development, and that it will notify owners by mail.
