Julius Randle On His Trade From Knicks
In a shocking turn of events, they decided to salary-dump Karl-Anthony Towns in a trade with the New York Knicks. Needless to say, trading away your second-best player will take a toll on your chances of competing. Julius Randle isn't to blame for the team's debacle, but he hasn't been a good fit next to Rudy Gobert.
A proposed three-team trade could swap three different star forwards. The Wolves would acquire Brandon Ingram, New Orleans gets Miles Bridges, and Charlotte acquires Julius Randle . While this trade works due to contracts, all three teams would have to add another player or some future draft capital to sweeten up the deal.
Julius Randle speaks about the Knicks trade to the Timberwolves and reflects on his time in New York and his new journey in Minnesota.
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Julius Randle appears to be frustrated, and this could mark the beginning of the end of his time in Minnesota.
After the game, Randle made a heartfelt statement about the Knicks when he met with the media. Reporter: "How much fun was it last year before you got injured you guys were really

Randle played a secondary role in the Timberwolves’ 116-99 win, taking a backseat in the spotlight as Anthony Edwards dazzled with 36 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists.
It all boils down to whether the Wolves will try to work through their chemistry issues with Randle. A year ago, Minnesota played in the Western Conference Finals. This season, they're hanging on ...
Randle played his heart out for the Knicks, but this new version of their offense is much more potent without his low post scoring clogging up the paint. Jalen Brunson has room to breathe, and he can conserve his energy more with Towns, O.G. Anunoby, and Mikal Bridges all added to the team.
The Wolves’ ability to overwhelm teams with a double-big lineup of Towns and Gobert is gone as Randle isn’t a floor spacer and isn’t a true big. He’s a wrecking ball power forward who is best with the ball in his hands.
This potential trade idea between two teams who have been underwhelming sees them swap All-Stars. In this trade idea, the Minnesota Timberwolves trade away their star forward, Julius Randle, and send him back to New Orleans for All-Star point guard Dejounte Murray.
