According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Bears are signing S Adrian Colbert from the practice squad to the active roster. Colbert, 31, was a seventh-round pick to the 49ers out of Miami following the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Chicago Bears will be without four players on "Thursday Night Football" against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17, according to the team's latest injury report. The Bears will be without safeties Elijah Hicks (ankle/foot) and Tarvarius Moore (knee), as well as running back Travis Homer (hamstring) and guard Teven Jenkins (calf).

Colbert has been on Chicago's practice squad and has appeared in three games in 2024, playing 44% of snaps on special teams. The 31-year-old was originally cut from the team during the preseason but was brought back to the team's practice squad.
